Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 12, 2026
DRAFTIX is a free, no-signup tool for running Valorant draft sessions. This policy is
short on purpose — there isn't much going on. If anything below is unclear, message us
on Ko-fi.
What we collect
- Nicknames and chat messages you type during a session, kept in server memory only for the lifetime of that session.
- Connection metadata (IP address, user-agent) used solely for per-IP rate limiting and abuse defense. Not stored beyond what's needed in memory.
- Session codes, kept in a local log file so we can guarantee each code is permanently unique. The log does not contain nicknames, chat, picks, or IPs.
What we don't collect
- No accounts, no passwords, no email addresses.
- No analytics scripts, no third-party trackers, no ad networks.
- No cookies are set by DRAFTIX itself.
- No persistent record of who played whom, on what map, or with what picks.
How long data lives
- Sessions and chat live only in server memory. When the host leaves, the session is closed and all messages are dropped immediately. Idle sessions are also automatically swept after 2 hours of inactivity.
- Session codes persist on disk indefinitely to keep them unique. They are not personally identifiable.
Third-party services
- Riot's Valorant-API (valorant-api.com) is queried server-side for map and agent metadata. Your browser never talks to Riot directly.
- Google Fonts is used on the main app to load typography. Your browser fetches font files from Google's CDN; that request is governed by Google's privacy policy.
- Ko-fi is linked in the footer for donations. If you click through and donate, that interaction is governed by Ko-fi's privacy policy.
Children
DRAFTIX has no age gate. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone, and we don't
require any data to use the tool. Use of DRAFTIX is governed by your local laws.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything material, the "Last updated" date above will move. There's no
mailing list to notify because we don't have your email.
